Two New Widgets

I just wrote two quick widgets: CPU Overlay and Developer Settings Shortcut. CPU Overlay is a quick method of launching the "Show CPU Usage" option from Developer Settings. Simply click it and your CPU usage will be displayed on screen. Developer Settings Shortcut is just a settings shortcut to the Developer Options. Strangely, there was no built in shortcut widget for them already, so I wrote one.

AbilityCalc Lite now in the appstore

Exciting news - the free version of AbilityCalc is now available in the appstore. AbilityCalc Lite  allows you to customize a set of stats for your  D&D or Pathfinder character. However, you will need to upgrade to the full version in order to choose core or custom races.

 If the app is useful to you, consider upgrading to help us keep developing! Just think, the full version probably costs less than the soda (or beer) that you'll drink at your next gaming session : )

Introducing AbilityCalc

We're pleased to release our first iPhone app: AbilityCalc. AbilityCalc is a point buy calculator for D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder.  To quote the appstore description

Need to create characters for a game but don't want to roll them up? AbilityCalc is your one-stop app for character generation. It supports both the D&D and Pathfinder point buy systems. 

Choose a race for your character. The app comes with stats for the core races. If that's not enough, you can add a custom race! 

Select the point pool size from the predefined system sizes or choose a custom pool size.  

AbilityCalc is great for experienced players who need to quickly generate stats, or for RPG newcomers who need a bit of help with the basics of character creation. 

 AbilityCalc is currently available for 99 cents. A Lite version will be on its way soon.  If you have any suggestions of feature requests, please let us know. We want to make AbilityCalc the best tool possible for DMs and players.
